VOLCANOES BWINDI LODGE – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge is a high-end place to stay in the northern part of Uganda, in the Buhoma sector. It is not in the amazing Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, but in the south-western part. Since the camp is close to gorilla trekking point, it is in a great spot for gorilla hiking in Uganda.
To get to the lodge by car from Kampala or Entebbe, the drive is about 9–10 hours (525 km). If you fly from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby Kihihi airport, it takes about 1–2 hours, and then you’ll be taken to the lodge for a few hours. With its beautiful views of the hill, forest cover, farmland, and nearby areas, the lodge is good for business and easy for people to get to.
Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge has 10 elegant and luxurious en suite Bandas and 2 special bandas. The design of the buildings is based on African styles, with beautiful grass thatching and modern comforts.The bandas are tastefully designed, raised, and furnished with comfort in mind.
They have private bathrooms with running toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, flat-screen TVs, free toiletries, fire extinguishers, and many other features.

Bandas have private decks, patios, and sitting areas where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of the canopy forest and the area around it. The king and queen-sized beds at Banda’s are very good, and the sheets are clean and fresh.
The lodge has fireplaces that keep guests warm on cold nights. The bandas come in different sizes and types, with single beds, double or twin beds, triple beds, and family rooms. Prices start at $500 per person per night, and can be a little higher during peak season than during low season.

You can find Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park in the southwest of Uganda. It is the best and most popular national park in this area. More rare mountain gorillas live in the park. There are 19 groups of gorillas in the park. The park takes up a total of 330.8 square kilometers. In Bwindi National Park, there are more than 600 mountain gorillas.
Nineteen gorilla groups live there and are used to it. There are 4 different areas in the park where you can go gorilla trekking: the Nkuringo sector, the Rushaga sector, the Buhoma sector, and the Ruhijha sector.
You can find the camp in the Buhoma Sector, which is home to three gorilla families: the Mabare, the Hhabinyajha, and the rushegura. Nineteen people live in the Rushegura family in the park, and the Mabare were the first people to get used to the area. You can also keep an eye on Ruhijha while he is staying in Buhoma.
