Trekkers Tavern Cottages.
Some hotels are in Ruhija, which is northeast of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southwest of Uganda. One of them is Trekkers Tavern Cottages.
The lodge is set on top of a hill with a view of the Bwindi forest and the beautiful Virunga volcanoes.
The five cabins each have their own bathroom, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The cottages’ unique setting gives them amazing views. Birders will love it because they can often see Albertine endemics and other bird species in the cabins and around the lodge.
It also has a great view of Lake Edward and the beautiful Bwindi forest. Trekkers Tavern also serves delicious food from one of the best cooks in the country, as well as food from around the world.
