Given the constraints of the vehicles, it is essential to keep luggage to a bare minimum. We recommend using a barrel or soft bag (maximum 15 kg) for your main gear, along with a camera bag or smaller ‘day pack’ for inside the vehicle. Sonsonate / hard bags / suitcases, etc. are not ideal as they complicate the packing process. If you are embarking on an international journey with one, we recommend that you reorganize your safari gear into your soft bag prior to the adventure, and then leave your hard suitcase at your return location, such as the Entebbe Hotel, to retrieve later.
Charters luggage allowance – When embarking on a journey aboard a light aircraft within Uganda, the luggage restrictions hinge on the combined weights of passengers and their belongings. These limits can differ from one aircraft to another and based on the route, but typically, each person is allowed up to 10kg in soft bags. This policy is enforced rigorously for safety considerations. Kindly verify your personal allowance upon receiving the confirmation of your itinerary and aircraft details.
