In the southern part of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, in the Rushaga section, there is a new four-star hotel called Four Gorillas Lodge.  Four Gorillas Lodge is close to the Bwindi National Park offices and only 10 minutes from the point where you can track gorillas and get information.

You can do business at the cabin while you’re in the park, which has beautiful views, gentle breezes, rustling trees, and a forest sky. It takes about 9–10 hours to drive from Kampala or Entebbe to the lodge. If you fly from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby Kihihi airport, it takes about 2–3 hours, and then it’s an hour and a half drive to get to the lodge.

Four Gorilla Lodge has eight beautiful, high-end cottages with private bathrooms. The cottages are built in the traditional African style, with grass thatched roofs and materials made from local woods. In addition to having a raised platform and nice decorations, each room has its own private bathroom with a running toilet, hot and cold showers, baths, mosquito nets, flat-screen TVs, hair dryers, satellite, fire extinguishers, and more.

The rooms have patios, sitting areas, and wooden balconies where you can relax and take in the amazing view of the canopy forest and the areas around it. The rooms are spotless and have nice, soft beds, a wooden floor, and a ceiling fan. There are fireplaces in the cabin where people can relax and talk about their trips.

The fireplaces also keep people warm at night. There are single, double, twin, triple, and family cottage rooms, as well as rooms of different types and sizes. Rooms cost $300 or more per night for each person. During peak season, prices are sometimes a little higher than during low season.

Four Gorilla Lodge has a kitchen that serves both local and continental food, and the staff is well-trained, helpful, and well-organized. Also, the lodge has a number of other services and facilities. a bar with a lot of drinks and a room where people can share them, with drinks like beer, soda, wine, and more.  You can relax on the patios or decks with a drink while taking in the view of the canopy forest, gorillas, soft breezes, and the area around the hotel. Laundry services are available.  There is Wi-Fi at the cabin so that guests can stay in touch with their friends and family.

You can be picked up and dropped off at the airport, there is a backup generator, plenty of parking, business centers with meeting rooms, a Honey Moon package, and more.  There is a health and fitness center with a sauna, a steam room, and massage services. There is also an African craft shop with gifts like shoes, clothes, safari items, and guidesbooks, to name a few.

The most popular and best national park in the south-western part of Uganda is Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park. More rare mountain gorillas live in the park. There are 19 groups of gorillas in the park. The park takes up a total of 330.8 square kilometers. In Bwindi National Park, there are more than 600 mountain gorillas.

Nineteen gorilla groups live there and are used to it.There are 4 different areas in the park where you can go gorilla trekking: the Nkuringo sector, the Rushaga sector, the Buhoma sector, and the Ruhijha sector.  The camp is in the Rushaga Sector, which is home to five gorilla families: the Mishaya, the Kahungye, the Nshongi, the Busingye, and the Bweza.

The Rushaga area also has two gorilla families that live there permanently: the Bukingi and the Bushaho. You can also keep an eye on Rushaga while he is staying in Nkuringo.Among the different parts of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Rushaga section has the most beautiful views of the forest sky and is the most popular and best-known.  The cost of a gorilla pass in Bwindi is $800. There are over 786 mountain gorillas in the world.

About half of the gorillas that live in Uganda live in Four Gorillas Lodge. Most of them live in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, while the others can be found in Mgahinga National Park. There are different types of lodging in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, including cheap, moderate, and high-end options.

February, March, June, July, September, October, and December are the best months to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

There are lots of things to do in the park, such as gorilla trekking, gorilla habituation, the Batwa pigmies trail, traditional dances, bird watching (there are over 150 species of birds in the park), nature walks in the forest, community tours in Bwindi Forest, visiting Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mutanda, tracking golden monkeys in Mgahinga National Park, and many more.
