Speak with a reputable tour operator who oversees your gorilla trekking safari and is affiliated with the Association of Uganda Tour Operators.

Give the trip operator your travel dates, and they will email your bank information or ask you to pay with a credit card.

Following payment acknowledgement, they will send in a copy of your passport, which is required for gorilla permit registration in order to verify your country, names, status, and passport number.

You will obtain your gorilla permit to enter any of the four sectors in Bwindi—Buhoma, Nkuringo, Rushaga, and Ruhijah—after registering.
