Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge
Over 6,000 feet above sea level, Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is the highest lodge in Uganda. It is in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge is one of the best places to stay to see the beautiful Bwindi forest overhead as it really is.
There are amazing views from the resort that go beyond the Bwindi dense forest to the mountains of Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Sabyinyo, Bisoke, and other volcanoes.
Clouds Lodge is a very nice place to stay that serves gourmet meals made with fresh local food that is grown just outside of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
The fancy rooms at Clouds are made from volcanic rock and have a fireplace, private bathrooms, hot and cold running water, and a room with a fireplace.
At the bar at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, guests can get a variety of soft drinks, hot drinks, and local mixed beers.
People who want to go gorilla trekking in the Virunga area can be picked up at the airport by the camp.
It also has a beautiful porch where you can relax after a day of monkey tracking.
This lodge is also thought to be the best in the southern part of Bwindi.
In the southern part of Bwindi, Cloud Mountain Gorilla Lodge is thought to have more mountain gorillas than the Ruhija and Buhoma areas.
In addition, it gives visitors their own Butler and maid for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Most nights after a day of gorilla hiking, the nkuringo children will perform dances to keep you amused. This is a great way to experience the unique culture of Africa.

HOW TO GET THERE
You can fly into Rwanda and drive to Clouds Mountain Lodge for three hours.
It takes 1.5 hours to fly in from Kisoro to Entebbe.
