Bwindi Jungle View Lodge
Lake Muhele is home to the Bwindi Jungle View Lodge. The lodge is 20 kilometers from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwest of Uganda.
This is a one-of-a-kind lodge in a beautiful spot, right in the middle of Bwindi Forest and on the shores of Muhele Lake, not far from Mgahinga National Park. The lodge has amazing views, and tourists often include bird watching in their plans while they’re there.
The houses at the camp were made from local wood and stones taken from the Virunga volcanoes.
The bar serves a range of soft and hot drinks, and the restaurant serves tasty meals with both local and foreign cuisine. Vegetarians can also order special meals.
The eating room has a view of the lake and a cool breeze blows all day. The cabin has a fireplace, and after a long day of monkey hiking, your shoes are cleaned.
