BUHOMA SECTOR FOR GEORILLA TREKKING

Habimanya Gorilla Family
Three already settled Gorilla families from the Buhoma sector—Mubare, Rushegura, Habinyanja family—are living here.
Every Gorilla family in the Buhoma area has a unique narrative. With nine members, Mubare was first group settled in 1992 and among the oldest families.
Habinyanja habituation in 1997 with 17 individuals; Rushegura family opened in 2000 the group consists of 19 members.
Buhoma issues daily 24 Gorilla licenses; three gorilla families are seen by eight persons each day.

RUHIJA SECTOR FOR GORILLA TREKKING
One of the primary causes of Gorilla trekking in Ruhija area is Mountain Gorillas. Three Gorilla families in all—Oruogo, Kyaguiro, and Bitukura—are found in the area. Southern Bwindi Impenetrable National park’s Nkuringo section for Gorilla trekking is situated The well-known Nkuringo Gorilla family finds home in this location. Known for wandering outside of the park, this Gorilla troop from Nkuringo It has caused local residents who once settled in the Nkuringo sector to be displaced.
The Nkuringo gorilla family developed scabies in the early 2000s, although it was later treated.
The high heights of Nkuringo gorilla sector make hiking inside the unbroken forest more difficult for the visitors. For the physically active and enthusiastic young people who constantly maintain and appreciate the mountainous forest, the sector is advised.
Like any other Gorilla family, Nkuringo Gorilla neighbors Nshogi, one of the households living in Rushaga sector. Eight persons in all are permitted to walk the Gorillas of Nkuringo gorilla group.
Gorilla trekking requires a minimum age limit of 15 years; anyone under the age of 15 is not permitted to climb the mountain.

Availability of the Nkuringo sector.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest has the Rushaga section for Gorilla trekking. Rushaga has five Gorilla families, and this is the only area suitable for Gorilla habituation. Rwanda in a 4-hour drive allows the area to be most easily reached.
Rushaga is also the greatest place for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the only region allowed for habituation experience for four hours with the mountain Gorillas, hiking such as the waterfall trail and cultural interaction experiences. This is a wonderful meeting far from home.
Near Nkuringo area, Rushaga sector for Gorilla trekking has the highest count of Gorilla families in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Viewing the park’s beautiful surroundings is best from the southern portion of Bwindi impenetrable forest. Since there are so many options in the sector, including Rushaga Gorilla camp, Gorilla safari lodge, Gorilla havens lodge, Gorilla valley lodge and many more, the lodges have been developed in the region.
Rushaga boasts roughly eight Gorilla families. From Kigali and Gorilla permits, the maximum travel time is four hours; the cost 800 USD less than for Rwanda, 1500 USD.
