Activities in the Rushaga Sector After Gorilla Trekking Rushaga Sector is one of four sectors that provide the thrilling activity of gorilla trekking. The southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to the Rushaga Sector. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated on the border of the Albertine Rift Valley in the Kanungu region in southwest Uganda.

Directions to Rushaga Sector
Located in the southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Rushaga Sector is accessible by road transportation. It takes around nine to ten hours to travel from Kampala to the park headquarters in Rushaga Sector, passing via Masaka and Mbarara.
Rushaga Sector is also accessible from Kigali, Rwanda. To get there, take a plane to Kigali International Airport, and then cross the Cyanika border in Kisoro District to reach the park headquarters.
A scheduled or charter flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip, followed by a road connection to the park headquarters, may be arranged via Aero Link or Bar Aviation to go to Rushaga Sector.
