Buhoma Community Rest Camp
The Buhoma community rest camp, sometimes called the Buhoma Haven lodge, is near the entrances to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. It is just above Buhoma town and less than five minutes’ drive from the main road. The BMCDA has relied on it since it opened in 1993.
The Buhoma community rest camp offers visitors a unique chance to enjoy the outdoors and special services.
Safaris in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park give you amazing views of the forest canopy and scenery, mostly at sunset.
Not only can you go gorilla climbing there, but you can also see bird species that have never been seen anywhere else in Uganda. The bungalows at Buhoma Community Rest Camp are in the middle price range, so they’re affordable for tourists on a budget.
Gorillas sometimes come to the Buhoma community rest camp and can be seen moving around the camp.
