Bwindi Forest Lodge is a cheap place to stay in Uganda’s Kanungu District, in the Buhoma section of Northern Bwindi National Park. The camp is close to the tracking point, making it an ideal place to stay before going on a Gorilla Trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

It takes about 9–10 hours to drive from Kampala or Entebbe to the lodge, which is 480 kilometers away. If you fly from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby Kihihi airport, it takes about 1–2 hours, and then you have to drive for an hour and a half to get to the lodge.

The lodge is good for business, and tourists and travelers can easily get to it for a trek adventure or to just relax with its lovely views of the forest foliage and the area around it.

Bwindi Forest Lodge has more than 10 large, comfy rooms with views of the park that are built in an African way and are comfortable.

The rooms are tastefully designed, raised, and furnished with peace and quiet in mind. They have private bathrooms with flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, free toiletries, shoes, free drinking water, and many other amenities.

There are big sitting areas in each room, as well as private porches with views of the stunning forest canopy and farmland nearby.  The rooms are very nice and clean, and the beds are comfortable poster beds with clean, washed sheets.

The rooms come in a range of sizes, with options for single beds, double beds, twin beds, triple beds, and family rooms. Rooms cost $150 or more per night for each person. During peak season, prices are sometimes a little higher than during low season.

A restaurant that offers both local and foreign food that suits its customers’ tastes and is run by staff who are well-trained, friendly, and helpful. Meals include a breakfast in your room or yard with a view of the forest,  Lunch and three-course dinners inside and outside.

There is a well-stocked bar and a shared lounge with both hard and soft drinks. You can relax on the decks and sip your cocktail while taking in the view of the canopy forest, African scenery, and other areas nearby.

Services: There is washing and housekeeping service, plenty of parking, pick-up and drop-off service at the airport, and a backup generator.

There is free Wi-Fi internet access so guests can stay in touch with their loved ones.

While staying at the lodge, you can go gorilla climbing (because the park is famous for mountain gorillas), birdwatching in the park, or nature walks in the town nearby.

The most popular and best national park in the south-western part of Uganda is Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park. More rare mountain gorillas live in the park. There are 19 groups of gorillas in the park. The park takes up a total of 330.8 square kilometers.

In Bwindi National Park, there are more than 600 mountain gorillas. Nineteen gorilla groups live there and are used to it. There are 4 different areas in the park where you can go gorilla trekking: the Nkuringo sector, the Rushaga sector, the Buhoma sector, and the Ruhijha sector.  You can find the camp in the Buhoma Sector, which is home to three gorilla families: the Mabare, the Hhabinyajha, and the rushegura.

Nineteen people live in the Rushegura family in the park, and the Mabare were the first people to get used to the area.  You can also keep an eye on Ruhijha while he is staying in Buhoma.  Among the different parts of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Buhoma section has the most beautiful views of the forest sky and is the most popular and best-known. The cost of a gorilla permits in Bwindi is $800. There are over 786 mountain gorillas in the world. Uganda is home to about half of its people. Most of them live in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, while the rest can be found in Mgahinga National Park.
