About nine to ten hours’ journey from the southwest of Uganda is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Alternatively, a chartered domestic flight lands one 1:30 hours from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip.

Best time to visit Bwindi: Peak season is the ideal time to visit the lodge or park as most of the paths are dry and non-slip. For gorilla trekking, which runs from June to Mid-September and December to March, the ideal months to acquire are these ones.
