Broadbill Forest camp
On the very border of Bwindi Forest National Park, home of more endangered mountain gorillas, Broadbill Forest camp is a mid-range accommodation located in south western Part of Uganda. The camp falls north of the route to Kabale town and south of Ruhijha settlement.One of the four sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable national park, the camp is located near the tracking point in the eastern part of the Bwindi Ruhjha sector.
From kampala via Mbarara KABALE, one may be at guesthouse by road taking around 8 hour journey (540km). One and half hour flight from Entebbe to the close Kihihi airfield then an hour to be taken to the guest house. Convenient and well positioned to observe the breathtaking vistas of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the surrounding region is THE Camp.
Four large and cosy huts at Broadbill Forest Camp overlook the rift valley constructed in African traditional style with locally sourced wood and forest view. The camp provides family or group lodging as well as single bedrooms for individuals and double beds for sharing.
High standards of mosquito nets, satellites, extinguishers, en-suite flushing toilets, hot and cold running showers, complementary bottled water, solar electricity in the full house, free toiletries, Towels, pillows etc. define the elevated and equipped camp. Teraces, sitting spaces, and wooden balconies in rooms let you unwind while taking in the amazing panorama of the forest, vibrant gardens, and Virunga Mountains. Comfortable hardwood beds with fresh, cleaned beddings abound in rooms.
