Following the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to explore and a park guide who is well-versed in the ways of the gorillas and familiar with the winding trails of the jungle. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location, as they frequently roam in search of food. While trekking, you will encounter a variety of wildlife, including forest elephants, buffaloes, and various primates such as l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and chimpanzees.
