Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa for Rhino Tracking.

A delectable cup of tea or coffee will be served to you at your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala. After that, you will be picked up by your driver-guide to begin your amazing journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

Today’s trip follows the Kampala-Gulu route into Northwestern Uganda.

You will get the opportunity to take an active walk with rhinos in the wild during your en route stop to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You may anticipate learning a great deal about the activities of rhinos and taking photos of them in their natural habitat.

After departing Ziwa, you will go to Masindi for lunch. You will pass to Murchison Falls Park, Uganda’s largest park and the location of the most powerful falls in the world, after lunch. You will travel through some incredible wildlife at the southern Kichumbanyobo gate. For an overnight stay, you will check in at the lodging that was reserved in advance.

Day 2: Game Drives, Boat Cruise and the Incredible Waterfalls.

You will be picked up at the lodge by the driver-guide after an early breakfast. Early in the morning, you will go for a game drive across the park’s northern region. A wide variety of wildlife, including as warthogs, Rothschild giraffes, bush elephants, oribis, hartebeest, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, and birds, may be seen throughout the 2-3 game drive trip via this game route.

After your game drive, you’ll go back to the resort for lunch. The day will conclude with an exhilarating boat ride or launch over the Victoria Nile to the foot of Murchison Falls. Numerous unexpected experiences, such as seeing hippos, water fowl, and Nile crocodiles, are included in this.

Day 3: Drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park.

After breakfast in the morning, you will travel through the breathtaking Albertine Rift Valley to Kibale National Park. For a lunch break, you will go to Nguse River Camp. After there, you’ll reach Fort Portal. You might choose to go to the park after completing the city tour with your guide. You’ll be here in the late afternoon. For supper and an overnight stay, you will check in at the hotel.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk/Community Walk.

Following an early breakfast, your guide will take you to the briefing area where you will learn the dos and don’ts while interacting with the chimpanzees. Depending on their location, the exercise takes two to four hours.

After that, you’ll go back to the resort for lunch and relaxation. The local community guide will accompany you later in the afternoon and lead you through the community and wetland tour, where you will discover a great deal about our culture.

After supper, you will spend the night at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast in the morning, you will travel via Kasese to QENP. After arriving in the afternoon, you will check into the hotel and get ready for the boat ride along the well-known Kazinga Channel, where you can see crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and various water birds.

You’ll go back to the lodge to rest and freshen up. When you go on the evening game drive with your guide later in the evening, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, and other animals. After supper, you will spend the night at the lodge.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After getting your coffee early, you will go on the morning search for lions and several other wildlife in the forest.

After a hearty breakfast, you will go back to the resort to check out. Your trip will start in the district of Kihihi Kanungu. After arriving in the late afternoon, you will check into the hotel for supper and a night’s stay.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Cultural Walk.

You will depart from your individual lodges to have a briefing at the park headquarters. Learn about the rules governing gorilla trekking. During the same session, a park ranger will assign gorilla families. The real walk, which starts at 8:00 am and lasts for two to six hours, will come next.

After locating the apes’ family, you will spend an hour getting to know them up close before returning. Enjoy the finest of the Batwa culture in the evening before dining and going to bed.

Day 8: Drive Back to Kampala/ Entebbe.

You will begin your trip back after eating breakfast early in the morning. After stopping for lunch in Mbarara and taking pictures near the equator, you will continue on to Kampala.

When you arrive, you will either be taken to the hotel of your choosing or, if you have a flight to catch, taken to the airport.
