More than half of the surviving 720 mountain gorillas live in the foggy Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where our five-day gorilla trek safari transports you. Bwindi Forest has a unique birdwatching chance, cultural encounters, and the picturesque appeal of breathtaking hills.
Watching these amazing apes close-range as they eat and rest will be a lifelong experience. Before crossing for a fantastic game watching experience to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Driven seven hours from Kampala-Masaka route to Queen Elizabeth National Park Make stops for lunch in Mbarara and photographs near the equator on way. You will thereafter be moving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Mbarara to Queen Elizabeth National Park is around three hours’ driving.
Accommodation: The Bush Lodge (Banda).
Day 2: Game Drive and Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel.
Enjoy a wildlife drive to the northern area of the park–Kasenyi grasslands in search of leopards and lions first thing in the morning. Big herds of elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Defassa waterbucks, bushbucks and enormous forest pigs should be seen as you travel along Kasenyi routes.
Before starting a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 pm, return to the resort for a delicious lunch. Among other things, the launch experience will bring you closer to large populations of elephants, hippos, and many of migratory and indigenous birds. Get back to the lodge for supper and leisure at 6:00 pm.

Day 3: Ishasha – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Chimp Trekking).
Transfer to Ishasha in the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions after breakfast at 8:00 am.
The travel from Mweya to Ishasha Gate takes around one hour. Lions start climbing fig trees around 10:00 am to get cover from the intense sunlight and unwind after a night and morning feast on the antelopes.
Transfer at 1:00 o’clock to Savannah Hotel for a hearty lunch; then, go to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an evening Batwa (Pygmies) community stroll.
NOTE: Early in the morning on this day you could decide to visit Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Found in southwest Uganda in the Bushenyi area, Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve is Close to both Queen Elizabeth National Park and Maramagambo woodland lies the forest reserve Kalinzu woodland reserve has a great variety of species. The woodland has around 379 different kinds of birds. Six different species of primates exist.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Adventure.
After having breakfast very early in the morning, walk to the park headquarters from your resort a few meters away for a briefing by the park ranger before starting the gorilla trip at 8:30 am.
Though physically demanding, gorilla tracking is rated as the most fulfilling wildlife experience. Depending on their mobility in the forest, the time required to come across these apes varies from one hour to several hours.

Day 5: Departure.
Return to the airport either Entebbe or Kigali after breakfast. From Bwindi, Entebbe is more than 8 hours’ journey; Kigali International Airport is about 4 to 5 hours’ drive away.
