Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )
DAY 1: Embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Your adventure begins with a guide who will pick you up and take you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, landing at either Kihihi for the northern and eastern regions or Kisoro Airstrip for the southern area of this remarkable park. Upon arrival, our guide/vehicle will whisk you away by road to your chosen overnight Lodge. You can opt to soar through the skies in the morning or embark on your journey in the afternoon. Morning flights take off from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at 7:45am, with afternoon departures at 15:30pm. In the southern region of Bwindi NP, a single morning flight takes off from Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip each day at 7:45am. The powerful winds in this region are the reason for this. Internal flights to Bwindi NP can last up to one and a half hours, varying based on the day’s routing.

DAY 2: Exploring the Wilds of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
As the sun rises, you’ll enjoy breakfast alongside your packed lunch before heading to the Park headquarters for registration. At 7:45 am, you’ll gather with fellow trackers for an exciting briefing on the essential dos and don’ts of your Gorilla Tracking adventure. Your journey will lead you through dense vines and lush greenery alongside your guides in search of the Gorillas, a quest that may last anywhere from thirty minutes to three quarters of a day. The lush, towering trees create a vibrant tapestry of green, interwoven with a network of animal paths that invite explorers to venture into the heart of nature. It is an exhilarating experience to be in the presence of these stunning yet vulnerable beings.

DAY 3: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you embark on a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where an evening game drive awaits if time permits.

Journey duration: 4-5 hours.
DAY 4: Exciting game drive and thrilling boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Following breakfast, your guide will take you on a journey to Kihihi/Kisoro for your internal flight back to Entebbe International Airport. If you have a connecting flight, you can then take off from Uganda or opt to linger a few extra days to discover other regions of this captivating country.
As the sun rises, you savor your morning cup of tea and breakfast before setting off to the Kasenyi plains for another exhilarating game drive, eager to discover the wildlife you may have overlooked on your last adventure. Head back to the lodge for a delightful lunch before embarking on an exciting 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. Kazinga Channel is thought to be the largest natural waterway globally, boasting the highest concentrations of hippos ever recorded. As you glide along the water, you will encounter a variety of water birds, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and countless other animals that come to this channel for a refreshing drink. This cruise invites you to explore charming fishing villages within the park, offering a glimpse into the harmonious coexistence between people and wildlife. Head back to your cozy lodge for the night

DAY 5: Journey back to Entebbe
Following breakfast, if you have a morning internal flight booked, you will embark on a transfer to Mweya or Kasese Airstrip for your journey to Entebbe. If your afternoon flight is on the horizon, consider embarking on an exhilarating game drive or taking an optional chimpanzee walk in the stunning Kyambura gorge before your journey back to Entebbe.
