DAY 1: Journey from Nairobi to the Ol Kinyei Conservancy – Greater Masai Mara
Our Journey to Masai Mara The journey begins at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya. At 10h00, we embark on a flight to Masai Mara from Wilson Airport, known for its focus on regional and domestic journeys.
Arriving at the Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip close to Masai Mara around 11h00, a driver from the camp awaits your arrival. Your journey takes you to the safari camp, where you relish the excitement of your first game drive along the route. We reach the camp just in time for a deliciously prepared lunch, then embark on an exciting late afternoon game drive in the exclusive Ol Kinyei Conservancy.
During our 4×4 game drive, we pause for sundowners in the African bush, then head back to camp for dinner and a relaxed evening.

DAY 2: Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies – Greater Masai Mara
On day two, we will immerse ourselves in the thrill of game viewing within the exclusive Ol Kinyei and Naboisho conservancy areas of the greater Masai Mara. These private conservancies are home to abundant wildlife, featuring majestic lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards (four of the Big 5), along with a variety of others like cheetahs and giraffes.
During our game drives in Ol Kinyei and Naboisho, we encounter hardly any other safari vehicles, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in a unique African safari experience.

DAY 3: Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies – Greater Masai Mara On the third day,
we dive deeper into the wonders of the renowned Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Another thrilling day of game viewing beckons in the Masai Mara Conservancies teeming with zebra, giraffe, numerous antelope species, and readily spotted lion, cheetah, and elephant.
A significant site in Kenyan conservation, Ol Kinyei was the inaugural conservation area created within the Great Masai Mara Ecosystem. The Ol Kinyei and Naboisho conservancies offer an incredible advantage: the wildlife viewing rivals that of the Masai Mara National Reserve, yet you can enjoy it without the hustle and bustle of crowds and countless safari vehicles. Located in the Loita Migration corridor, it offers an awe-inspiring view of 5,000 wildebeest and 1,000 zebra making their annual journey, showcasing one of the most remarkable natural spectacles on Earth.
On day three of our Fly-in Masai Mara Safari, we will embark on an exploration of the Naboisho Conservancy, located adjacent to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. A breathtaking expanse of untouched grasslands, majestic acacia woodlands, and undulating hills awaits exploration. Referred to as ”Big Cat Country,” this remarkable place is home to the largest populations of lions on the planet, along with a handful of elusive leopards to enhance the experience. For bird enthusiasts, 266 species of birds (including some quite rare) enhance the wildlife experience, a destination where the finest of African wildlife converges.

DAY 4: Journey from Greater Masai Mara to Nairobi – Kenya
This morning, we set off before breakfast for an exhilarating game-viewing experience in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We embark on an exhilarating game drive or a guided bush walk with a Maasai guide in one of the private conservation areas (Ol Kinyei or Naboisho Conservancies).
After breakfast back at camp, we pack up and bid farewell to the untamed Masai Mara ecosystem, retracing our steps to the Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip.
The planned flight to Nairobi takes off around 11h00 and lands at Wilson Airport in Nairobi at approximately 12h15, marking the end of this thrilling Masai Mara Safari.

Ol Kinyei Conservancy is a private wildlife haven covering 65km² of the vibrant Mara ecosystem in Kenya. This pristine wildlife conservancy boasts breathtaking scenery and a variety of landscapes, home to many majestic animal species. The conservancy boasts an array of majestic wildlife, including big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of plains game. The Great Wildebeest Migration typically traverses Ol Kinyei from June to October, presenting a perfect opportunity to experience this renowned wildlife phenomenon.
The Ol Kinyei Conservancy stands as the pioneering community-owned conservancy in the Mara region. The local Maasai guides bring a wealth of experience and expertise, providing thrilling game drives and immersive bush walks. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant Maasai culture within the community-run conservancy.
The Naboisho Conservancy, adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve, spans over 200km² of vibrant bushveld and expansive savannahs teeming with wildlife. This private conservancy provides exceptional opportunities for wildlife observation, featuring abundant populations of elephants, giraffes, and various other plains game. The presence of numerous herbivores draws in thriving groups of predators. Naboisho is home to around 100 lions, featuring the largest pride in the Mara region.
In January, the wildebeest, zebras, and other grazers embark on an incredible journey from the Loita Plains to the Masai Mara, traversing the scenic Ol Kinyei Conservancy along the way. During February and March, the plains of Ol Kinyei Conservancy come alive with wildebeest and various herbivores, marking the vibrant calving season. Then the Loita Migration journeys into the Naboisho Conservancy before moving on to Olare Motorogi and ultimately the Masai Mara Reserve.
