3-Days Wildlife Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Overview

Along with the well-known Kazinga Channel for boat sailing, this journey will take you into Queen Elizabeth National Park, home of a range of animal and bird species. Not disregarding the lovely lunch cruise along Kazinga Channel, Queen Elizabeth National Park is most certainly among the most highly diverse wildlife sanctuaries in the world containing leopards, chimpanzees, hippos, African elephants and Cape Buffaloes.

Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Breakfast on day one will be served at the hotel or your place of abode; then, on the three days Queen Elizabeth Tour, our driver will schedule a meet, greet and briefing. Stopovers including those at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road will abound.

Placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, here you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and also explore how water swirls in various ways. Take pictures and perhaps purchase some of the exquisite mementos. Direct yourself right to the lodge.

Mostly the destination is Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Accommodation: Elephant Hab Lodge

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

Early game drives starting the day expose us to a variety of creatures including the Big Five—elephants, buffaloes, big cats- lions, leopards, and rhinos. Many other animals call this park home, and more times in the evening warthogs, hunchback carnivals like hyenas are seen along the circuits as we pass.

As we approach the flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi, the wetland areas have a rich birdlife particularly our version of storks.
Take a boat trip over the well-known 36km Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward.

Here you will see land and water adaptable hippos yawning, the National Geographical Society killing machine, the Nile crocodile, gaping along the banks and savannah version of pigs, the warthog-Pumba a trademark sign in this animal habitat. Your binoculars around the peninsula will provide a great view of birds and wildlife including the always active African elephants in seas.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is my main destination.

Accommodation: Irungu Forest Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.

You will embark on chimpanzees trekking in Kalinzu Forest this morning. Take in the interesting visit with the chimpanzees and the stroll over the forest.

Following the walk, start the journey back to Kampala with a halt at equator and lunch in Masaka. As our three-day Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari trip in Uganda draws to a conclusion, drive back through to Kampala. Get to Kampala or Entebbe late at night.
