Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.

Your journey starts early in morning pick-up under the direction of our seasoned guide in Kampala. Following a little orientation, you will travel picturesquely towards Murchison Falls National Park.

You will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only location in Uganda where you may follow wild rhinos on foot, en route. Accompanied by an informed ranger, you will get the chance to see these amazing animals in their natural environment and hear about continuous conservation initiatives.

Following an amazing rhino tracking adventure, you will have a wonderful lunch at a neighboring restaurant before heading to Murchison Falls.

You will reach your lodge late afternoon after meandering throughout the verdant scenery and local communities. Arriving, you will check in, have time to unwind, take in the surroundings, and get ready for the experiences ahead. The lodge will host dinner, then a quiet overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon Nile boat cruise.

Before leaving for an exciting morning game drive as the sun rises and the park comes alive with animal life, start your day with an early breakfast. You will be able to see a great variety of creatures, including lions, elephants, hartebeest, buffaloes, giraffes, under your professional guide directing the route. The finest opportunity to see these amazing animals in their native surroundings is presented by the game drive.

Return to the resort after an exciting morning to unwind and have a leisurely meal. One of the pleasures of the Murchison Falls trip, a boat excursion down the Nile River will start in the afternoon. Keep your eyes out for the plenty of animals along the riverbanks as you cruise approach the foot of the falls—including hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a range of water birds.

Return to the lodge for a laid-back evening as the day ends, where you will have supper and an overnight stay and consider the amazing animal experiences of the day.

Day 3: Visit the top of the falls and drive back to Kampala.

Start your day with a filling breakfast and then go out to discover the summit of Murchison Falls National Park. Our guide will lead you to this amazing perspective where the Nile River will be aggressively squeezing through a small 7-meter gap before dropping 45 meters into the turbulent seas below.

The sight and sound of the flowing water are very breathtaking, providing a wonderful picture chance and a chance to appreciate the unprocessed might of nature.

You will start your travel back to Kampala after this event. You will stop at Masindi for a leisurely lunch, allowing you to savor regional food and stretch your legs. After lunch, the trip winds throughout Uganda’s picturesque landscape till late afternoon or early evening arrives in Kampala.
