3-Days Chimpanzee Tracking Kibale.

Overview

The three-day chimpanzee tracking expedition west of Kampala is once-in-a-lifetime. Leave for Kibale National Park in the morning. Fort portal town lunch. Visit the city with Rwenzori mountain vistas and tea farms before visiting the park. The second day of chimpanzee tracking is an adventure as you go with them or spot them in the woods and have an evening nature walk in the Bigodi swamp.

Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Travel to Kibale National Park.

Visit the world’s primate capital in western Uganda. Most chimpanzee tracking occurs in Kibale National Park. Over 13 monkey species exist in the forest, including common vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, l’hoest monkeys, and red colobus monkeys.
After lunch in Fortportal, travel across the city with Rwenzori mountain views. In the tea fields, interact with the villagers and continue to the forest. Dine and stay at your lodging.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking & Bigodi nature walk.

Chimpanzee tracking day. Wake up to breakfast at the lodge and collect our rain coats, trekking sticks, waterproof leggings, and gaiters. Attend the chimpanzee briefing and registration at 8 a.m., then hunt the rain forest for them.
Follow them on foot or in the woods. Spend time with them shooting beautiful photos and movies. Return from the wilderness to your cabin for lunch and leisure.
Wander around Bigodi’s town and swamp in the evening to see birds, butterflies, and vervet monkeys.
Return to your lodge for supper and sleep.

Day 3: Departure.

After having breakfast at the resort, we will pack our luggage and then go for either the Entebbe Airport or Kampala Airport to continue our adventure. On the way, lunch was served.
