3-Days Uganda Murchison and Big Five Safari
Overview
Part of the larger Murchison Falls Conservation Area, Murchison Falls provides first-rate animal watching. The Victoria Nile divides the park and boat rides to Murchison Falls are particularly noteworthy if you trek to the top where the great force of the Falls is most perceived.
Common are large herds of elephants and buffalos, and lions are very easily seen. Among antelopes are waterbuck, Uganda kob, Jackson’s hartebeest. Specialty are huge herds of Rothschild’s giraffe.
Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park en-route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
You will depart Kampala early to begin your safari at Murchison Falls National Park. You will stop at Ziwa rhino reserve along the journey as they are striving to bring rhinos back to Uganda. Here you will go on a hike to see these amazing creatures. Along the road, you will eat lunch and then go to the resort near Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise.
Early in the morning, you will go out on a wildlife drive to witness big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and more as the animal checklist reaches 76. You will keep looking over the driving circuits to the Delta point in search of a mixture of birds and animals.
You have never seen more hippos yawning and grooming in their pods anywhere else than here; after the game drives, you head for lunch before it is time for a 3-hour boat trip to the foot of the falls! Along the banks are Nile crocodiles, elephants, and many exquisite bird species. Should you be an avid birder, this may be your lure to find them. Your trip to this amazing wildlife habitat begins grandly here.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.
You will visit and embark for a second game drive at Murchison Falls National Park first thing in morning. This is your final opportunity to see amazing giraffes and large cats. You then will move on to see the summit of the falls.
On your final day of the safari, this is a great classic highlight as an intense dash of water at close range rushes through a little gap. Following this, you will depart the park and begin the trip back to Kampala while lunching along.
