Gorilla tracking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is part of this itinerary. In Rwanda, a country of a thousand hills, it begins and finishes at Kigali International Airport. You may, however, be picked up from your accommodation if you are already in Kigali. It culminates with a stay at the most stunning lake after beginning with gorilla trekking in the unforgiving Bwindi bush.

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali International Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

A representative from Big Apes Africa will meet you today, and then you will be driven to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda in order to be ready for the gorilla trekking that will take place the following day. If you arrive with enough of time, you will have the opportunity to have a brief tour of the city before departing from the lovely and clean city.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Following an early breakfast, you will travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park forest for a briefing where you will learn more about your mountain gorilla trip. It is recommended that you bring a lunchbox and plenty drinking water.

You may hire a potter to help you in steep or slick areas of the forest and carry your backpack for $15 USD. Following the briefing, a park ranger will divide you into groups of eight and take you into the forest, where you will spend an hour with the kind giants.

Given that Bwindi is a tropical jungle, rain gear is essential. After that, you will be taken to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s most picturesque lake, where you may swim or canoe to take in the scenery and discover the local settlements.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali Airport.

Depending on the time of your flight, you will be taken to the airport after breakfast. You might visit the Genocide Memorial Site and take a city tour. Please make arrangements with your guide to ensure that everything is completed in the allotted time.
