This remarkable Fly-in Masai Mara Safari sets off from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya. We catch a scheduled flight at 10h00, flying to the Ol Seki Airstrip near Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arriving around 11h00, you are greeted by the camp’s driver and taken to the tented camp nestled within the exclusive Ol Kinyei Conservancy.

As we step into Ol Kinyei Conservancy, we relish our initial encounter with wildlife on the way to camp. The private conservancy boasts an incredible array of wildlife, promising thrilling encounters that will leave you in awe. Get cozy at camp and enjoy a delicious lunch, then gear up for an exciting sunset game drive later this afternoon.

Venturing into the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy with expert guides in 4×4 safari vehicles, you are enveloped by the African bush from the very beginning – encountering the sights, sounds, and scents in an intimate way. DAY 02: Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies – Greater Masai Mara

Waking up in the heart of the untouched African bush this morning, we gear up for an exhilarating day of game viewing in the private conservancy areas adjacent to Masai Mara National Reserve.

The Ol Kinyei and Naboisho conservancy areas provide a unique and immersive safari experience in the Masai Mara, distinct from the more accessible national park. It’s rare to encounter other safari vehicles while exploring the bush, making it a delightful experience in the Mara ecosystem, which is a highly sought-after African safari destination.

These private conservancy areas of greater Masai Mara are teeming with wildlife, featuring four of Africa’s Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalos, and leopards. The Great Wildebeest Migration, along with another remarkable migration, traverses the conservancies during specific seasons of the year. The Mara region is famous for its majestic big cats, featuring thriving populations of cheetahs, leopards, and lions, alongside African wild cats, servals, and caracals. Naboisho conservancy is home to impressively large lion prides, showcasing one of the highest concentrations of lions found anywhere in the world. After the thrilling conclusion of our game viewing experience at the Kenya Lodge Safari, we head back to the tented camp for a delicious breakfast. Then it is time to gather our belongings and head back to the Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip, bidding farewell to the untamed beauty of the Ol Kinyei Conservancy.

At around 11:00, we embark on our scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Returning to the bustling city around 12:15, our brief Fly-in Masai Mara Safari concludes.
