Day 1: Arrive and embark on a journey to a hotel in Kampala.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of the 16-day Pearl of Africa safari, our driver guide will be there to greet you. They will provide a briefing about the exciting journey ahead before transferring you to a hotel in Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park
Following breakfast on the second day of the 16-day Pearl of Africa safari, you will enjoy your meal before our driver guide arrives to collect you from the hotel. The adventure begins as you set off towards Murchison Falls National Park, nestled in the northwestern region of Uganda. The drive spans approximately 5 to 6 hours, during which you will be captivated by breathtaking views of stunning landscapes, charming countryside, and lush farmlands, with an exciting stop at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for an unforgettable rhino tracking experience. Following your thrilling rhino tracking experience, you will head to Masindi for a delightful lunch before embarking on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will drive straight to the summit of the falls, where breathtaking views of the waterfall, diverse mammals, various bird species, and stunning scenery await you. Following the exhilarating tour at the top of the falls, you will embark on a drive to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a cozy overnight stay.
Day 3: Exciting morning game drive followed by a thrilling afternoon boat cruise

Following a hearty breakfast on the third day of your 16-day Pearl of Africa safari, your driver guide will arrive at the lodge to take you on an exhilarating morning game drive. After lunch, you will embark on a drive to Paraa landing site for an exhilarating boat cruise to the base of the falls, which takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. On the boat trip, you will encounter breathtaking sights of majestic animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes as they gather to quench their thirst. You will also spot hippos and crocodiles in the water, along with a diverse array of bird species including kingfishers, fish eagles, bee-eaters, and hornbills, among others. After the exhilarating boat cruise, you will journey back to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a night filled with possibilities.
Day 4: Exciting boat cruise through the Nile delta followed by an exhilarating evening game drive
After breakfast on day 4 of the 16 days pearl of Africa safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you on an exhilarating Nile Delta boat cruise. Here, you will have the chance to observe various animals along the shores, aquatic creatures, and a diverse array of bird species, including the fascinating prehistoric shoebill stork. Following the exhilarating boat cruise through the Nile Delta, you will embark on a drive back to the lodge for a delightful lunch.
After lunch, you will unwind at the lodge and later embark on an exciting evening game drive in the park, where you can spot some of the animals you may have overlooked the day before. Following the evening game drive, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and a night of rest.
Day 5: Journey to Kibale National Park
Following breakfast on the fifth day of your 16-day journey through the Pearl of Africa, you will check out of the lodge and rendezvous with your driver guide for a transfer to Kibale National Park. Embarking on a full-day journey, you will savor an en-route lunch while taking in breathtaking vistas of the farmlands, Rwenzori Mountains, tea plantations, Lake Gorge, and crater lakes, among other wonders. As you step into Kibale National Park, you will settle into the lodge for a delightful dinner and a night filled with possibilities.
Day 6: Embark on an exhilarating journey through the lush wilderness, encountering chimpanzees and exploring the enchanting Bigodi swamp.

Following a hearty breakfast on the sixth day of your 16-day Pearl of Africa safari, you will rendezvous with your driver guide for a transfer to the Kanyachu Visitors Centre, where an exciting briefing for chimpanzee trekking awaits. Following the briefing, you will be split into groups of six, with each group assigned a chimpanzee family to explore and a knowledgeable park guide familiar with the forest trails. The trek to observe chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees, as they often wander in search of food. While trekking, you will encounter a variety of primates including grey cheeked mangabeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and l’hoest monkeys, along with various bird species and plants. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will have the opportunity to spend an hour with them in their wild environment. This experience allows you to observe their behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, engage in playful fights, hunt, and enjoy the sight of juveniles frolicking in the trees, all while capturing photos and recording unforgettable moments. Following your exhilarating encounter with the chimpanzees, you will embark on a trek back to the park headquarters, where you will reunite with your driver guide for the journey back to the lodge to enjoy a delightful lunch.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. During the trek, you will encounter forest birds, other primates such as l’hoest monkeys and baboons, as well as a variety of plant and tree species. Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will have the chance to spend an hour in their presence, allowing you to delve into their lifestyle, observe their behaviors and habits, capture stunning photos, and witness their daily activities unfold. Day 11: Journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park – Batwa Trail Experience
Following breakfast on the 11th day of your 16-day Pearl of Africa safari, you will check out of the lodge and rendezvous with your driver guide to embark on the journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on an engaging cultural experience with the Batwa people, who once thrived in the forest before it was designated as a protected area. You will have the opportunity to connect with them, discover their unique way of life, explore their hunting techniques, hear their timeless stories, and revel in their vibrant traditional dances, among other activities. Following the briefing, you will embark on an exhilarating hike through the jungle, seeking out the elusive golden monkeys. This journey can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours, depending on where these fascinating creatures are found. While trekking, you will encounter forest birds and various species of primates, among others. Once you discover the golden monkeys, you will have the opportunity to spend an hour with them, allowing you to observe their behaviors and habits, watch them leap through the trees, feed, and capture photos and videos. After your exhilarating golden monkey trekking experience, you will make your way back to the park headquarters, where you will reunite with your driver guide. After lunch, the journey to Kampala will resume, leading you to your destination by evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will take you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any location you prefer.
