Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Karibu Uganda & Transfer to hotel.

A member of Nyumbu Beyond Journeys will kindly greet you when you arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Following check in, you will be transported to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to explore this amazing city as you like. Should you choose to visit Ngamba Island or the

Mabamba Wetland, our crew will arrange you a vehicle or boat.

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park.

Following a delectable breakfast, your first stop on the way from Uganda’s capital, Kampala, will be Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Following ranger briefing, you will drive to a location where the rhinos are visible; the remaining distance will be on foot.

Usually, you will be able to observe the rhinos from really close; still, always pay attention to the rangers. Following rhino tracking and lunch, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park for supper and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive to the Delta and Boat Safari to the Bottom of Falls.

You will get up early, have breakfast, then go in time to cross the Nile. Starting your game drive safari search for animals on the northern Nile side, Which animal—the elephant, lion, giraffe, or the elusive leopard—you may initially see?

It is difficult to say. The game drive ends in the afternoon; you will return to the ferry to cross back across the river and enjoy lunch. You will be dropped off to trek to the top of the world-known Murchison Falls after a boat tour on the great Nile after lunch. You will be collected up and driven to Murchison River Lodge, where your overnight stay and dinner will take place.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park & Bigodi Community walk.

We go to the top of the most powerful water source, Murchison Falls, after your morning meal to appreciate the awesome force of nature. Later on, keep on the primate capital of the world, Kibale, while seeing the rainbow and the perspective view of the falls.

Though it takes time, the trip from Murchison Falls to Kibale is gorgeous. The route winds among the most beautiful hills you have ever seen with absolutely amazing vistas. Following our check-in at the resort, we will lead you through rural regions, wetlands, and tea farms on a community tour late in afternoon.

People living in Bigodi Wetland can teach you how to make herbal remedies and crafts. You will get an opportunity to taste some of the locally produced finest gins, beers, and coffees. Still, the highlight of these trips is the opportunity to view at least five distinct kinds of monkeys and get a sight of the blue turaco.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Time to look for the Chimpanzees at National Park of Kibale. You first go for a briefing at the Ranger’s station in the park; then the trek begins in the jungle. Sometimes the trek is heavy, hence carry a poncha and wear decent shoes.

Try to remain silent; you will have more chances to encounter the monkeys. The Rangers are well-versed in tracking, hence the odds are rather high to find them quickly.

Following the tracking, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park and, upon arriving at your camp, take in amazing park panoramas and views of the Rwenzori Mountains. An evening game drive follows.

Day 6: Early morning game drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Most of the predators in the park live in the Kasenyi plains, which you will enjoy on a game drive after an early breakfast.

Following an early game drive, set out a mid-morning boat trip across the Kazinga Channel to link Lake Edward and Lake George.

Large animals and quite numerous distinct bird species are found here. After lunch and subsequently the Ishasha area for an evening wildlife drive in search of the renowned tree-climbing lions, return to the lodge for supper and sleep.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Batwa Cultural Experience.

Following an afternoon wildlife drive in Ishasha, it is time to go to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the well-known mountain gorillas. Arriving at Bakiga lodge, get ready for yet another highlight of your incredible journey: mountain gorilla tracking!

We will visit the Batwa people later in the afternoon to learn about their way of life and historical approaches of coexistence with the mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking & transfer to lake Bunyonyi.

After breakfast and a packed lunch, spend four to five hours gorilla tracking. About half of the 650 mountain gorillas found worldwide live in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Even though sighting gorillas relies on their daily movements, you will start climbing early with a tracker.

Naturally quiet and non-violent creatures, gorillas are Watching them and maybe photographing these modest giants at close range is an unforgettable and exciting experience. The guide will take you to Lake Bunyonyi for rest after the gorilla walk.

On the lake, you may go boogie canoe (price not included). Sipping a chilled drink will help you to enjoy a laid-back evening. Later on you will have supper and spend the night at Sharp Island Lodge.

Day 9: Morning Canoeing on lake Bunyonyi & transfer to Lake Mburo.

This climb takes two to three hours and another day of paddling and trekking around the lake for amazing vistas. You will be continuing Lake Mburo National Park after this Adventure. Your arrival time will determine whether you rest at the resort or conduct a quick game drive.

Day 10: Walking Safari and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala.

Beginning your final day with an on-foot guided safari in Lake Mburo National Park A ranger will accompany you and go over everything there is to know about the park and its wildlife.

The trek will last two to three hours; after it, you will travel back to Entebbe from where your adventure began. You must halt at the equator line on your way back. You will be dropped at the airport at the end of the day; it is time to bid the Pearl of Africa farewell.
