10-Days Best of Uganda Wildlife and Gorillas Safari
Overview
This is an active trip package mostly focused on animals. Within a short period, one finds a lot to see. Apart from gorilla and chimpanzee tracking, additional activities include a rhino walking safari, wildlife drives, boat cruises, tree-climbing lion hunt, optional community/cultural visit and much more.
Trip Itinerary ( Detailed Safari )
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.
Our Maseke Adventures Co. agent will meet you upon arrival and send you to your hotel where you will spend a night before starting your journey. You could decide to conduct the briefing early the following day or right away depending on arrival time.

Day 2: Game Drives at Murchison Falls National Park.
Early in the morning, you get up and travel west to one of the most cherished and largest national parks. Tracking the white rhinos will be done on a walking safari. Along the route you will eat lunch. You travel to the top of Murchison Falls first then continue to the resort.
Enjoy the breathtaking sights by strolling to the bottom of the waterfall. Murchison Falls is the most forceful waterfall on Earth; this is the most picturesque area in the park. You will appreciate a guided wildlife drive on your way to the resort.

Day 3: Morning and Evening Game Drives at Murchison Falls National Park.
Your game drive today is early in morning. You will have chance to hunt for antelopes, hartebeests, elephants, and other bird lots.
Good days allow you to view the lions and leopards on one drive. You will tour the River Nile up to the bottom of the Falls where the Queen of Africa Movie of 1951 was filmed after lunch. You might decide to rest in the evening or arrange an additional evening game drive.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Today you will travel south to the Kibale bush in readiness for a stroll at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Before making it to the resort, you will eat lunch along the road. After the lengthy trip, you might decide to unwind at the lodge or go on a guided tour over the neighbourhood.

Day 5: Bigodi Swamp Walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a Boat Trip and Game Drive.
Today starts with a Bigodi Swamp trek providing some of Uganda’s best birding and monkey sightings. This 4.5 kilometer tour provides a wonderful view of woodland and wetland features as well as plenty of monkeys.
Following here, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a potential evening game drive in search of animals.
Lunch will be on route. You will arrive on time for the afternoon boat tour on Kazinga Channel, where you will witness many of species including birds, animals, and more. You might decide to go to rest at your lovely lodge or take an evening wildlife drive after the boat ride.

Day 6: Ishasha Sector.
You will travel to Kyambura Gorge for chimp trekking and check in after an early breakfast. Later on, you will be split into smaller groups and go into the forest beside a park ranger. Usually lasting three hours, this exercise includes one full hour for their company.
You should definitely pack plenty drinking water. Following the exercise, you will be moved to Ishasha, well-known for tree-climbing lions. First you check-in; then you may go for a game drive. Under a few beers in the center of the actual forest, you will appreciate the sun setting.

Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Early morning game drive today offers a chance to view animals like elephants, lions, leopards, and many of birds.
Assuming you began extremely early to search for other animals, you have better possibilities to discover lions when the sun is fully up and warm so you may remain or visit the lodge for a break and return when it’s warmer. You will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after your trip here.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Following an early breakfast, you will travel to the briefing area in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park forest to learn about your mountain gorilla expedition. You are suggested to pack lunchbox and plenty drinking water.
For fifteen dollars, you may get a potter to carry your luggage and provide a hand in steep or slipper areas of the forest. You are split into groups of eight after the briefing and guided into the forest by a park ranger.
Once you located the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour in their company before returning. Given that Bwindi is a tropical jungle, rain gear is quite crucial. You will be driven back to the resort after the event.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Following breakfast at leisure, you will be taken to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake following Tanganyika, where you will swim either in the swimming pool at the resort or Uganda’s most exquisite lake. To appreciate the surroundings or even tour the nearby towns, you will ride a canoe.

Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe.
You will start your way back after breakfast. You pause for lunch near the Equator. You could do to shopping for African goods after lunch before heading to Entebbe International Airport. You will have fun, we think.
